Emilia Wareborn

Born 24th of May 1981, is from Gothenburg, Sweden. She started playing the viola when she was five years old using the Suzuki method. She also studied the violin and piano at the age of ten. 19 years old, in 2000, she entered the Academy of Music in Malmö, where she studied for Professor Henrik Frendin and his assistant Markus Falkbring. In 2002 she continued her studies at the Academy of Music in Gothenburg for Professor Björn Sjögren and Johanna Persson. After finishing four years of studying in Sweden, she completed her studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieure de la Musique et Dance de Paris, CNSMDP in Paris, where she studied for Professor Jean Sulem and his assistant Raymond Glatard. After Paris she took classes atConservatoire National Supérieure de la Musique et de Dance de Lyon, CNSM for Professor Jean-Philippe Vasseur, and his assistant Fabrice Lamarre and Friedeich Kirch, where she also attended masterclasses in Contemporary music with Christophe Desjardins at the CNSM in Lyon.
