Swedish singer and songwriter, born Högdahl, born May 31, 1968 in Gothenburg. She has participated in the Swedish Melodifestivalen as a songwriter and / or artist 2000, 2003, 2007-2008 and 2012. Her stage debut in the competition, "Better Believe It", won the Baltic Song Contest 2003. Later she came 2nd and won the public prize together with Stefan Andersson (2) in Andersson & Gibson 2007. As a songwriter, she has received a number of platinum and gold records and has worked with, among others, Sanna Nielsen, Jill Johnson, Carola, Sahlene, Molly Sandén, Måns Zelmerlöw, Brolle Jr, Nick Carter and S-Club 7. The song Chenoa gave several high list placements around the Latin world and a 1st in Spain. She also received SKAP's annual scholarship in 2009. Aleena Gibson is a member of the prog rock band Kaipa where she sings together with Patrik Lundström. Gibson is involved in the campaign I SAY NO DRUGS and is one of the initiators of the album "I SAY NO DRUGS" which sold about 5000 copies. She is also involved in the Antipsychiatric Scientology Organization's Human Rights Committee.
