Barbershop baritone vocalist. Original from Ohio. Formerly sang tenor in the “Great Scots” quartet which is likely where he got his nickname “Scotty.” Joined the Buffalo Bills in 1957 to replace Dick Grapes as baritone. Performed with the Buffalo Bills on Broadway and in the film version of the Music Man. Appeared on the majority of their albums singing several solos on many of the Bills’ songs. Born on July 4, 1922 and died on January 23, 1989 at the age of 66.
