The Gambino Family is a rap group from New Orleans, Louisiana originally formed by Crazy. They made their first appearance in 1997 as a rap duo, consisting of Mr. Sleep and Gotti with the song, "Why They Wanna See Me Dead" which was featured on Master P's compilation soundtrack album, "I'm Bout It." Sleep left for personal issues and the group was reformed in 1998 with Gotti's younger brothers Reginelli & Melchior, plus his friend P'heno. The group remained active ever since as Reginelli, Melchior & P'heno remained active as rappers (a Gambino Family album was released in 2020 with only Reginelli & Melchior participating). Unfortunately Gotti has been incarcerated and P'heno passed away in a car crash in 2021.
