Polish violinist, born 30 September 1939 in Palmiry. Graduated from the State Conservatoire in Warsaw, where he studied with prof. Tadeusz Wroński. He later continued his studies in USA with professors Josef Gingold and Janos Starker. He is prize-winner of several international violin competitions e.g. 3rd Prize at the Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition (1962) and special prize of Henryk Szeryng. He has been giving concerts, both as soloist and chamber music player, in numerous countries in Europe and America, also in Australia, New Zealand an Japan, where he performed with equal success baroque, classical, romantic as well as modern music. He is professor on Fryderyk Chopin Music University in Warsaw and guest professor on SOAI University, Osaka, Japan.
