Ernest Archibeque

Singer, drummer, trumpeter and keyboardist from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born on March 17, 1951, Ernie Archibeque performed with countless bands including Squeezer (3), Al Hurricane, Zozobra and Joe Choir and the Clues. He was highly respected in the local music community. Ernie recorded many songs and CD's, and also a children's book and recording. He traveled throughout the country doing what he loved best - performing. In 2001, Ernie was awarded "Best Vocalist of the Year" by the Hispanic Music Association. His last wish was to write Christian music. He died of esophageal cancer on November 29, 2003.
