Franz Xaver Ohnesorg

German music manager, born 9-March-1948, died 14-November-2023. He was orchestra director of the Münchner Philharmoniker, then since 1983 artistic director of the Kölner Philharmonie, since 1999 executive and artistic director of the Carnegie Hall in New York for three years, then in the same position for the Berliner Philharmoniker. Since 1996 he was also artistic director of the Klavier-Festival Ruhr.
