Institut national de l'audiovisuel (INA) is a public foundation in charge of the legal deposit of French radio and television and the preservation of radio and television broascasting heritage. Founded in 1986, INA was named Institut national de la communication audiovisuelle (1982-1986) and before again Institut national de l'audiovisuel (1974-1982).
