Eric Bravington

Bravington was principal trumpet in the London Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO), becoming the orchestra's managing director from 1959. In parallel he was playing in ensembles like the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble and acting as musical director of the Hanwell Band. He was one of the leading brass band adjudicators and was awarded the OBE in 1974.
