Swedish guitarist, Born 13 April 1962, in Gothenburg. He learned to play guitar by his older brother. At the age of 17, he recorded four of his own programs for Sveriges Radio and for the first time performed Joaquin Rodrigo's guitar concert "Concierto de Aranjuez" with orchestra. He made his official debut concert at the Gothenburg Concert Hall nine years later (1989). He is a graduate diploma guitarist from the Gothenburg Academy of Music, where he studied for Professor Josef Holeček. He has since studied further as a private tutor to Professor Angelo Gilardino in Vercelli, Italy. In addition to his activities as a concert guitarist, Magnusson has accompanied, for example, Anders Ekborg, Peter Harryson and Axel Falk, and performed songs by, among others, Evert Taube, Ruben Nilsson and Carl Michael Bellman. He also works as an organizer and composer and has made record, radio and TV recordings in several countries.
