Provision is a North American Darkpop Duo from Houston, Texas. Former Underground Netwerk Intelligence (U-N-I) band members Breye Kiser and Leslie Hyman formed Provision in November of 2000’ as an outlet for their new sound, initially self-described as Electronic Dance with an Edge. In the spring of 2001’ live keyboardist and backing vocalist Matt Coker was hired to complete the original lineup. In 2003’ Provision signed with the world's largest synthpop label A Different Drum during the pinnacle of it's existence, becoming one of it’s most successful acts during the mid 2000's while touring the U.S. multiple times to promote their first two albums Evaporate and Visualize; along with multiple singles. Live members during this time included Alex Virlios (CTRL / Blue Images), Carlos Covarrubias (Straynge), Jen Foxx, and Randon Harris (P for Flamingos). In 2005’ founding member Leslie Hyman left Provision to focus on her medical career, and Jen Foxx (now Kiser) joined as a contributing member co-writing the band’s 3rd L.P. The Consequence, released in early 2006’ on Section 44 Records. In September of 2007’ Provision officially disbanded. In 2009’ the band re-formed, featuring Jen ‘Skully’ Kiser (U-N-I), Breye ‘7x’ Kiser, and new member Matt ‘Maddy’ Willis (Splendor Projekt / Transcendent 7) to form the Triad Era of the band. This trio released the albums Paradigm Shift (2010’) and A New Revolution (2012’). In 2016’ the Legacy Era of Provision was formed, consisting of Ian Sol & Breye Sevenex. Provision’s 6th L.P. Hearts Turn Dark was released in July of 2020’ on Dreamstreet Records.
