Maria Cristina Ozzetti, known as Ná Ozzetti, was born in São Paulo on December 12, 1958. Her interest in music started at home, with her brothers and sister, all musicians. She studied piano as a child, started to sing as a teenager, and then graduated in Fine Arts. In 1979 she began her musical career with the group Rumo (gave a large number of shows and recorded 6 LPs). In 1988 she released her first solo album, entitled Ná Ozzetti. In 1994 she she released her second album (beginning to present her own compositions). In 1996 she released the CD Love Lee Rita, a tribute to her compatriot Rita Lee. In 1999 she launched the CD Estopim [Fuse], containing unreleased songs written with Luiz Tatit, Dante Ozzetti, Itamar Assumpção and Zé Miguel Wisnik. In 2000 she launched the disc “Show”, with a repertoire of classics from the 1940s and 1950s. In 2005 she released, together with pianist and composer André Mehmari, the CD Piano and Voice, and in 2006 the DVD, including a CD with unreleased recordings they had made together. In 2009 she launched the album Balangandãs, which features songs immortalized in the voice of Carmen Miranda. In 2011 released "Meu Quintal" and in 2013 "Embalar". In 2015 launched two important albums: "NÁ e ZÉ" with Zé Miguel Wisnik, and "THIAGO FRANÇA" whith the group Passo Torto. Throughout her career she has taken part in projects with other artists, including Zé Miguel Wisnik, Luiz Tatit, Suzana Salles, Itamar Assumpção, Zelia Duncan, Mônica Salmaso, Ivan Vilela, Kiko Dinucci, Rodrigo Campos, Romulo Froes, and Kristoff Silva.
