Настоящее имя: Louis Fleury
Об исполнителе:
Louis Fleury (24 May 1878, Lyon — 10 June 1926, Paris) was a French flutist, one of Claude-Paul Taffanel's students at Conservatoire de Paris. He was among the first XX-century musicians who began rediscovering obscure and forgotten Baroque flute repertoire while commissioning new works by contemporary composers. Most notably, Claude Debussy dedicated his Syrinx (1913) for solo flute to Fleury; other composers who wrote music exclusively for him include Cyril Rootham with the Suite in Three Movements (1921) for flute and piano.
