James Jamerson

Soul bassist (born on 29.01.1938 in Edisto Island, South Carolina, died on 02.08.1983 in Los Angeles, California), who like his fellow musicians in Motown’s Funk Brothers house band, he worked for many years in obscurity — literally uncredited on records until the early '70s.
