Jean-Marie Gibbal

Born in 1938, he is an ethnologist, poet, art critic. As researcher at the CNRS, he opened up to Africa through the urban areas of Togo and the Ivory Coast, before giving in to the irresistible appeal of the possession cults of the Niger.
