The Circle was a Dutch metal band formed in 1992 featuring several members who would go on to form Within Temptation. The band recorded a number of demo cassettes before Robert Westerholt left the band in 1995 and took the name The Circle with him, after which the band was renamed Voyage (14) for the release of their only album Embrace.
