Susanna Sharpe

Austin, Texas singer, percussionist and melodica player. She specializes in Brazilians and other Latin music. Originally from New York, she has been based in Austin since 1984. She was the leader and lead singer dance bands Susanna Sharpe and Samba Police from 1988 to 2000. She sang with klezmer ensemble The Austin Klezmorim in the early 1990s and in the early 2000s led the band Catavento.
