Aime Maurice Vereecke

Belgian-American multi-instrumentalist (woodwinds and percussion), composer, arranger and proofreader. Born 18 October 1923, Leopoldsburg or Mazée (Belgium), died 17 September 2009, Moscow (Idaho, USA). Starting as a member of the local fanfare, in 1951 he moved abroad. After four years in Brazil he moved permanently to the USA, eventually gaining full citizenship. Here he found work in the movie industry, working a.o. as a proofreader for 20th Century Fox.
