Lord Carrett is an internationally touring stand-up comedian whose jokes have been quoted in The New York Post, The Huffington Post, and The Wall Street Journal. Carrett's made 19 appearances on The Bob & Tom Radio Network, and is in heavy rotation on both XM and SIRIUS Satellite Radio. He's a published rock critic, having written the chapter on Rock Movies in The Comedy Film Nerds Guide To Movies. His Lordship's stand-up CD "Unsweetened" was recorded "one show, one take" to highlight his interactive style, and his jokes have been quoted in The New York Post, The Huffington Post, and The Wall Street Journal. One of his best-known jokes was the inspiration for the title track on cult-legend Holly Golightly's CD: "You Can't Buy A Gun." Two of his jokes are featured on Compendium's Frank & Funny line of greeting cards (featuring tried-and-true jokes from comedians' acts). Carrett has appeared at top clubs in NYC, where he resides; Caroline's, Dangerfields, The Comic Strip, The Improv, Comix, and CBGB's Gallery. Lord has toured across Europe headlining theaters and clubs in London, Amsterdam, Paris, Milan, Ireland, and Copenhagen. Lord has headlined fundraisers and conventions for 12-Step Organizations. He has appeared in concert with top comics (Emo Philips, Patton Oswalt, Jake Johannsen, Rita Rudner) and musical acts (Weird Al, Engelbert Humperdinck, Phil Lee, Los Straitjackets).
