Born in Emsworth, Hampshire, England, Lee Spencer's musical journey began at the tender age of 12, exploring the intricacies of keyboards and soon immersing himself in local bands. The 1980s marked his relocation to London, where he embarked on a flourishing career as a session musician, collaborating with an array of notable artists, including Beth Orton, William Orbit, The Dub Pistols, Monkey Mafia, Johnny Marr (formerly of The Smiths), and Michael Brook. In 1992, Lee Spencer unveiled his groundbreaking solo album, Cavewaves, captivating audiences and critics alike.
