Alejandro Carballo

Musician, Composer, Arranger, Plastic Artist. Born in Tampico, Mexico, music and art have been a part of his spirit for as long as he can remember. At a very young age, he began playing the trombone and piano, which led him to study music and art and complete his PhD in music at the University of Tamaulipas. Realizing his deep passion for art, he decided to move to Mexico City to pursue his dreams at the Academy of San Carlos. It was also in Mexico City where he crafted his musical abilities. He was able to play trombone for some of the most internationally acclaimed artists. Alejandro parlayed his musical experiences into an opportunity to play with international superstar, Luis Miguel. Some 17 years later, Alejandro continues to tour internationally with the Grammy Award winning group taking his place as the Musical Director for the brass section and performing trombone live.
