Fritsh

Dutch boyband active from 1985 to 1988, created by Creators International and manager Frits Hirschland (after whom the group was named). Despite earning the Holland Happening Award 1987 for most promising group, no follow-up to their debut single was released. It was decided to disband Fritsh in mid-1988 after an unstable line-up and no succeses throughout its existence. Fritsh consisted of: Marcel Hoekstra (Cello*), (Vince**), Bob Reiche (Bobby-Ray*), Johan Willems (Sandy*), Maurice van der Toorn (Maurice*), Johan was replaced by René Klijn (Dorian*) and Maurice was replaced by Rob Koning (Lesley*). Immediately after the disbanding of Fritsh, Marcel Hoekstra and René Klijn continued with Creators International to form Bam To Bam Bam along with three new bandmembers; this lasted from 1988 to 1990. * Each member had a nickname. ** Info about his real name is missing.
