Angelina Tezanou

Born on September 24 in Cameroon, in the Bamiléké region, Angélina (Angeline) TEZANOU, blind, is an accomplished artist with a full head. Holder of a DEA in International Economic and Commercial Law, she divides her life between her work as an advisor and her passion: music. Emeritus artist (pianist, guitarist and violinist), thanks to her talent, her charisma and her will, she succeeds in overcoming her blindness and transforming into an asset what would initially pass for a handicap. Strongly marked by Zouk at the start of her career, she expresses herself just as well in other genres such as Funk, R'n'b, Ragga, Reggae, Rap, Cameroonian folklore or variety. French. She defends, through her music, a multiculturalism that she has acquired through her thirst for knowledge and independence. She is very active in the voluntary sector to help the blind integrate through artistic expression and education (Angelmusic / Cecimode). At the age of 7, because of her sight problems, Angélina left Cameroon for France. She attended a religious school where she was introduced to music. At 10, she recorded her first album with the other children of the choir. At 18, in order to pay for her law studies, she began to play cabaret and was noticed by several groups. The first she joined is a West Indian team: Kawatch. Angélina learns Creole there to better assert herself overall. Two years later, she left this group to join "the Girls" as singer and guitarist. She recorded and co-produced the album "Viens on va danser" and participated in several tours through France, Germany, Switzerland and the West Indies.
