Le Pecore Nere are formed in Rome in the early 60s by a group of four young music fans: on keyboards Enrico Fusco, said Kiko, son of the famous composer Giovanni Fusco (memorable his soundtrack for the film "I Delfini" of Francesco Maselli with the single "What A Sky, Su Nel Cielo" sung by Nico Fidenco), guitarist Stefano Mercanti, coming from Little Boys, on drums Enzo Tarantino and on bass Mauro Chiari, coming from Svitati of Leo of Sanfelice, of which guitarist was Lucio Battisti.
