American singer, multi-instrumentalist, engineer, educator and producer. Born David Lee Morelock in 1964 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A music instructor for over 35 years, he’s toured & taught all over the planet - from Japan to Kyrgyzstan. Biff has played & recorded guitar, violin, bass & mandolin with Les Paul, Lee Scratch Perry, Robert Fripp, Steve Miller, Adrian Belew, Siggi from the Sugarcubes, Pat MacDonald, Natty Nation, Eugene Chadbourne, Jimmy Carl Black (The Mothers Of Invention), Simon Shaheen, Clyde Stubblefield (James Brown’s Funky Drummer), Boiled In Lead, Marshall Crenshaw, The ZomBeatles, Willy Porter, The Furious Bongos and too many other bands / performers to list here. He's still fronting award-winning Wisconsin cover band Steely Dane as their lead vocalist (for over a decade) and has been producer, violinist, vocalist & guitarist with the award-winning Reptile Palace Orchestra & The Gomers since the 1980-something's. Squarewave is another current band. Biff has given master classes at several Wisconsin and Michigan (Blissfest) Folk Festivals, and has hung out backstage with supergroups Spinal Tap and King Crimson. Biff taught music theory, history and use of music editing software for over 10 years at the Madison Media Institute College of Media Arts. He’s won many MAMA, Isthmus and WAMI awards. Biff has mastered many dozens of albums and has engineered many live audio guitar systems, most notably for Adrian Belew, Billy Corgan and Robert Fripp. Biff has a degree in Music and Entertainment Business. A former music director at Lake Waubesa Bible Camp, Biff currently teaches music lessons to local & online students and is also the Broadcast Production Engineer at St. Dennis Parish in Madison, WI.
