Echos Minor

Echos Minor (2000-2012) was a Dutch alternative rock band. The band started in their native town Drachten and recorded a first demo in 2000. The members are Emke Bosgraaf (guitar, vocals), Erik Bosgraaf (recorder, saxophone, keys, percussion, arrangements), Gerben Duisterwinkel (bass guitar, vocals), Roeland Duisterwinkel (drums), Tom de Haan (saxophone, vocals, guitar) and Jasper van der Woude (keys, percussion). The demo’s title song Read me Rona got national exposure at radio station 3FM and VPRO3voor12 and landed them a record deal with Grond Records. Constant Exposure (2002) was subsequently released. Their second album Bad Leaves (2008) was released independently on a limited edition numbered LP with artwork by Theo Tomson. Watch the time lapse video of the art performance here. In 2010 Echos Minor continued as a quartet with Gerben and Roeland Duisterwinkel as well as Erik Bosgraaf and Tom de Haan. After two years they recorded what was to become their last album Farewell (2012).
