Manuel Ballesteros

Double bass player resident in Oviedo (Asturias-Spain). He studied in Oviedo, Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia with the professors: Rischard Kukielka, Antonio García, Ferrán Sala and Ludwing Streicher, concluding with the Superior degree in Oviedo in 1990. Author of a publication on Contrabass and all its aspects: technical, historical, biographical ... ("The Contrabass, a comprehensive vision", Editorial Trabe, 2004). He is currently a professor at the Higher Conservatory of Music of Oviedo and Artistic Coordinator of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Principality of Asturias (JOSPA).
