Romuald Piasecki

Born on August 23, 1943 in Dobrocin, Poland. Vocalist, guitarist (moreover plays on mandolin, piano, synthesizers and accordion), composer, longtime leader of the rock band Romuald & Roman (1968-1971, 1973-1980). Early he was already active in the Wrocław music environment, playing in bands: Nastolatki (1963), Błękitne Cienie (1963-1967), Grupa I (1967) and Elar (1967-1968). He took private piano lessons and then for six years attended music classes at the Voivodship Cultural Center in Wrocław. He studied music education at the Teachers' College in Wrocław. In 1983 he emigrated to England, where he currently lives.
