Joe McKiernan

American songwriter and playwright active in New York, whose songs include "Cuban Moon," "Then You Know What It Means to Be Blue," "That's My Girl," and "It's You Again." "Breakfast for Two" was the last song he wrote before retiring from the show business and moving back to California. He also wrote a musical with Milt Hagen, "Hands Off." He later managed a music store in San Jose, California, and then became a real estate agent. He retired in the early 1970s, and moved to San Mateo.
