Manuel Laroche
Настоящее имя: Manuel Laroche
Об исполнителе:
Canadian lyricist from Québec. His work reflects mostly in melodic pop folk songs but also in rock and more elaborate compositions. His poetic oriented writing often carries second degree messages on social issues through personal romantic nostalgic subjects. He has worked with many composers such as Martin Léon, Christian Thomas, Éric Goulet (Monsieur Mono), René Grignon, Roger Miron and others. Among a few highlights, "Je Redeviens Le Vent", a thoughtful deep lyric about resilience, co-written, composed by Martin Leon, became the second most requested song in funerals in Quebec in 2018-2019. This song was also covered by famous story-teller singer Fred Pellerin in his 2018 album "Après". On a different range, his lyric "Qui Cé Qui Veut Ta Peau", became a hard-rock song composed and performed by Possession Simple that went number one for three weeks in a rock radio station in 1994. Laroche has lately completed with composer Christian Thomas, what he considers as his masterpiece so far, a musical named "L'Imprésario".
