Carmen Silvera

Carmen Silvera (born June 2, 1922, Toronto, Ontario, Canada–died August 3, 2002, Northwood, London, England) was a Canadian-born British comic actress of Spanish descent who moved to Coventry, England, United Kingdom, with her family when she was a child. She appeared on television regularly in the 1960s and achieved critical acclaim in the 1980s as her starring role in the British television program 'Allo 'Allo! as Edith Artois.
