Swedish accordionist, born June 29, 1953 in Lindesberg, died May 28, 1988 in Forsa in Hälsingland. Already at the age of four he started playing the accordion, but before he became a full-time musician he worked as a sheet metal worker and forest worker. During the 1970s, he had his heyday and toured all over Sweden with various bands, including the group Upplänningarna, and also made a number of major appearances in Norway. He broke through in 1972 in Bosse Larsson's TV program Nygammalt and became nationally known overnight. Nowadays he is a cult figure in accordion circles in both Sweden and Norway. On several occasions, he appeared in TV programs, including SVT's Nygammalt. At the inauguration of the 1974 FIFA World Cup in West Germany, he appeared as a representative of Sweden together with Family Four.
