Clark Kessinger

One of the most highly regarded and influential old-time fiddlers. Playing music since age 5 (banjo). He performed solo and played in a well known duo with his nephew, Luches Kessinger, called the Kessinger Brothers. Performing career ended by stroke in 1971. Inducted into West Virginia Music Hall of Fame, 2007. b. July 27, 1896 (South Hills, WV, USA) d. June 4, 1975 (St. Albans, WV, USA)
