Matija Tomc

Matija Tomc was a priest and composer of church and holly music from Bela Krajina, Slovenia. Born in 1899, died 1986. He was one of the most productive composers of 20th century in Slovenia. All together more than 1000 works. Most important works: - opera Krst pri Savici (1947) - 7 cantatas ( Križev pot, Stara pravda ...) - 5 masses (Stopil bom k oltarju ...) - many songs for church and children choirs.
