Bengt Göran Sköld

Swedish organist and postmodernist composer, born 10 May 1936 in Örgryte parish, Gothenburg. He is most significant and known for his large production of church music (choir and organ music) but has also made himself known in Sweden as a prominent concert organist and has served in the French Reformed Church in Stockholm and St. Olai Church in Norrköping. Sköld was noticed in the summer of 2009 when he was voted by STIM as the most played composer in Östergötland County between the years 2005 and 2007.
