Jennifer Shagawat

American drummer/vocalist now based in New York. She was born and grew up in New Jersey and has also lived in San Francisco, California. Shagawat has been in the bands Kung Fu U.S.A., Lovin Mouthful, Noise Star, Static Faction, Infared Shift, Thunder Suite, The Knittles, Me You And The Boys, and Shellshag. She is also a film producer, and owns film studio Jewel Street Studio and record label Starcleaner Records. She previously worked as a tour manager for The Slits.
