Sharon Ben-Ezer

Eliot (born Sharon Ben-Ezer on October 19,1966) is an Israeli rock singer, vocalist and leader of the Pollyanna Frank band and DJ. She wrote and performed songs that critically touched on issues of sex, gender, chauvinism and feminism and criticized nationalism and militarism. The name "Elliot", which she adopted in the late 1980s, started as an affectionate nickname, because of her likeness to the dragon Eliot, from the musical film "Friends of the Dragon Eliot" from the 1970s.
