Swedish opera and concert singer (tenor), born 16 December 1892 in Eskilstuna, died 16 June 1988 in Hälleforsnäs. He studied singing for i.a. Torsten Lennartsson and joined the Opera School in 1919. Debuted at the Royal Swedish Opera on 28.11.1921 and on record in 1922. Worked at the opera for a couple of years, then switched to concert singing and was also active as a church singer. Did several tours in the Swedish countryside but also in Finland and the USA. During the 1930s he was very popular as a gramophone singer. Active until the 1980s, when he was over 90 years old! Appeared together with his three brothers Dan - Lars - Nils Andersson on the shellack record Sång på däck.
