Descendant of a famous traditional songwriter from Odienné (north-west of Côte d'Ivoire) named "Gbêrêkôrô" and son of a traditional dancer from Zuénoula, a town in the center-west of Côte d'Ivoire, he adopted a reggae in Mandingo colors. He has signed several albums promoting this musical concept of mande roots Culture. Fadal Dey is involved in several militant actions. In September 2010, the song “No to racism” from his album “Mea culpa” was selected to be part of an international album called “Listen to the banned”. In November 2012, he participated in the reconciliation tour nationwide through towns in the Ivory Coast. In June 2013, he released a supporting single in Mali. His album “Je suis Afrique” released in mrs 2020 is an affirmation of his pan-African vision.
