Crumb (4)

Crumb (4) is a powercombo playing Grunge / Heavy Metal from Wetteren, Belgium, popular for there heavy live performances. Formed in 1992 by Phillip Crombeen (drums) and Carl Moens (bass). After several guitarists, Dirk Verleyen joined the band in 1993. Before their first big gig the singer left the band and was replaced by Alex Fifi who played in a other band. Alex decide to stay with Crumb. The adventure has began. In 1996 co-founder Carl Moens (bass) left the band and was replaced by Tuur P. The band collapsed in 1997. In 2010 the band reunited in their original line-up only for a couple of concerts. Played as support act in Belgium for Slash's Snake Pit (Vooruit, Ghent, 20/06/1995) and for Dinosaur Jr. (Luna Theater, Brussels,02/10/1994). Fudge Tunnel (Netwerk, Aalst,08/05/1993) Played at Dour festival (B) as headliner on Stage 3 (Tent) on 08/07/1995. The band was totally surprised when Bobby from Biohazard (one of their favourite bands) joined the stage and played a song with them. Shared several times the stage with La Muerte, Jason Rawhead, Catalepsy, Channel Zero, Deviate and Soulwax. Released a single remix from the song 'Swallow' with Fun-Da-Mental for the Artists Against Racism campaign in 1995 which was several weeks in the StuBru radio charts 'De Afrekening' and climbed up in the top 10.
