Scrotum (3)

Band formed in Vänersborg, Sweden from the remains of Ruska Tupp. Active from 1992-1996. Original members were Tomas ”Roten” Rotstrand on vocal and guitar , Stefan Fredriksson on drums, Jesse Lindskog on guitars and Michael Smith on bass guitar and vocals. The band recorded the first demo casette named ”Oh baby” in late 1992 at Östra Studios. Tobias Möller - guitar and vocals from Ruska Tupp joined in 1993 while recording the ep ”Inte utan min dotter”. It was recorded in Östra studios and was released on 7” vinyl only. Another recording was made in spring 1994 but were never released because the band was working on finding a record label. Two of the songs (Kristel & Krister, Naken som jag) were released on the mix cd Karl för sin hatt. Jesse left the band in late summer 1994 and later Michael left. Chrille Ericson, another ex Ruska Tupp member joined the band on bass filling in for Michael. At this point the full cast of Ruska Tupp was back together and recorded the mini-cd ”Den androgyna popvågen” 1995. This cd was released on Rainbow Music.
