Jonathon Stevens

Jonathon Stevens is a music editor and engineer who has worked on commercial releases for record labels including EMI, Decca, Concord, Naxos, Reprise, Innova, Varese Sarabande, SFS Media, ArtistShare, and Premonition. Jonathon’s film score and soundtrack credits include Ken Hahn’s 2010 Disney documentary Waking Sleeping Beauty, which has won awards at the Hamptons International and Heartland Film festivals, David Fincher’s Zodiac and Peter Jackson’s King Kong. Jonathon’s noise removal and audio restoration work can be found on the boxed set release of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, soundtrack release of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and film post-production for Michael Moore’s Capitalism and Michael Mann's Public Enemies. Jonathon also works with the San Francisco Symphony editing and producing nationally syndicated radio broadcasts. Additionally he works with the SFS Media label on their PBS documentary/performance series “Keeping Score”, an outreach program designed to make classical music more accessible to people of all ages and musical backgrounds. A graduate of the Concordia University Department of Music in Montreal, Quebec he participated in the audio work-study program at The Banff Centre from 2002-2005 during which time he won several student awards from the Audio Engineering Society, Downbeat Magazine, CARAS, and the GM High Note award.
