Ron Atkinson

Northern Irish promoter, A&R, manager, and educator. He began his career in the 1970s as a promoter for Bob Marley, before moving on to Charisma where he worked with Peter Gabriel and Genesis (as their tour manager). As head of A&R at ZTT he signed and managed 808 State and Shades of Rhythm. Was MD of 7 Records. He is currently a tutor at SSR in Manchester.
