Ulla Roxby

Swedish song singer, born Roxby, 15 June 1952 in Bromma. After high school studies at Nya Elementar, she trained as a psychologist at Stockholm University. She devoted her free time to her other great interest, singing. She got her first engagements in the music association Ungdom med Ton in Stockholm. The singer Ove Engström was there and soon it was discovered that their voices sounded good together and they began to get several engagements together. In 1975, the couple started singing full-time and that same year they made their recording debut with the LP Many, many miles, which was chosen as the LP of the week in the national radio's P3. Two years later, the duo appeared at Folkparkernas Artistforum in Helsingborg, a performance that led to a TV debut in TV 1's Nöjessverige and several tours around the country and participation in TV programs such as Nygammalt, Gomorron Sverige and Café Norrköping. The duo has also recorded 14 record albums.
