Meinir Elin Gwilym (born 31 March 1983) is a Welsh-language pop and folk singer. Raised in Llangristiolus, Anglesey, she released her first EP, 'Smôcs, Coffi a Fodca Rhad' ('Smokes, Coffee and Cheap Vodka') in 2002. Her first full album 'Dim ond Clwydda' ('Nothing but Lies' ) "sold thousands within the first few months of release in November 2003", according to the Original Famous Welsh Website, which also describes Gwilym as "one of the best selling Welsh language artists ever". Gwilym has worked as a radio presenter on the afternoon request show for Radio Cymru, the BBC’s Welsh-language service, alongside Dylan Wyn. She has also worked on S4C's nightly TV magazine show 'Wedi 7' ('After 7') and is the lead presenter on S4C's 'Garddio a Mwy' ('Gardening and More'). She also presents weekend radio shows on Heart Cymru in Anglesey and Gwynedd.
