Schäggi Bädsch

Long lived german Kraut-Fusion band. Founded in 1965 in Karlsruhe under the name Shaggy Badge, performing in various formations until 1985. In the early 70s the band supported the environmental campaign "Rettet den Rhein". In 1982 Schäggi Bädsch left Karlsruhe and moved to Bavaria, to the music pub "Bluespunkt". At that time the musicians Hubl Greiner, Achim Juhl, Derek Hauffen, Ulrike Schimpf and Mane Bock played in the band. Two years later the band moved to the Pfalz, where guitarist Wilfried Sahm, former member of the polit-rock group Checkpoint Charlie, joined the band. There was only one album, released on Schneeball in 1983.
