DJ Nicholas

Psychedelic trance DJ producer based in Bologna, Italy Nicola Mazzanti aka "Dj Nicholas" which is known as Italian psytrance Dj, also manager and founder of Magma Records. 
He started to buy the first Techno music in 1989. After 3 years he smashed into the House music. 
The passion for house music takes about 4 years, he played in many famous clubs in Italy and produced House music in few Italian labels. In November 1995 with a few friends he organising one of the first Italian Parties-Rave in his town and he falls in love with Goa Trance music, leaving the House music and starting to play and be active on Italy scene.
 In 2000 starts producing his first Goa Trance track with the project name "Flashback" and played for the first time on international event in Austria. In 2001 after having being part of big Trance festivals like (Solipse, Boom festival, Voov Experience, Samothraki,...), he decided to open the first italian Label Magma Records, promoting young artist producers. 
In September he released the first Magma Rec. VA "Eruption" compiled by him (inside his debut track under the name “Flashback”) organizing also first Label/CD party. Until now he released much Magma productions Full-on, Psytrance and Psy Progressive Styles and played at many parties around Europe. 
In 2018 he was for the first time in Mexico and played at "Atmosphere XIV" Festival powered by Ommix.
 Actually he creates a great family team with new italian talents and some international producers and Dj’s. In the last years he released also a few compilations in Magma with great success, the most important "Power of Love" selected together with his partner Djane Edy. 
He also starts a new project called "Electrostatic" and another duo project called "Mirage" with his friend Fabio Buonafede. Much more new music and great sets from him coming soon, stay tuned for great news! Contact: booking@magmarecords.it
