Lead singer of the Brad Dunn Band. Has performed and recorded for Dandelion Gold in Seattle. "Brad was born in Dallas Texas way back when…..He lives is Austin Texas today where the band calls home. He has toured the country in various forms of bands over the last 20 years, and feels right at home on the stage. He writes or co-writes all the bands material they perform and has branched out to write for other artists. Hunting, Fishing, and hanging out with his wife and family are his past times. He was asked what kind of music do you call this….He replied "I personally don't care what kind of music you call it, as long as people like it." "Brad Dunn's sound is somehow timeless – there are echoes of Lee Hazlewood, Ennio Morricone, and '90s guitar bands such as Polvo and Sonic Youth, among many others – and yet completely his own. There's a certain weariness that comes through, both in the music – which is often slow and subtle – and in his somber baritone voice. At the same time, though, there is a playful energy that can’t be denied, whether in the dark humor of his lyrics or the decade- and globe-spanning turns that the music itself can take. Generally his songs manage to be slow, and often sad, while still being compelling to listen to rather than a depressing slog."
