Davide De Angelis

Pianist and composer from Milan, Italy. Davide De Angelis is a young Italian composer. Born in San Benedetto del Tronto on the 12th of October 1996, he started music studies at the age of 4 at the Istituto Musicale A.Vivaldi. He composed his first piano melodies at the age of 8. Few years later, he decided to continue his studies at the conservatory in Teramo. He has been studying there until now supervised by the well-known pianist Tatjana Vratonjic. Unfortunately, a cronic tendinitis slowed down his progress in the studies of classic music. As a natural consequence, he was lead to appreciate music composition even more. In September 2016, he was selected by the Italian Maestro Roberto Cacciapaglia for an audition which he passed brilliantly. Therefore, Davide joined the Educational Music Academy, a well-known institute for artistic improvement founded by the Maestro himself. After two years of works, he released his first project: “Neverland”. Produced by the Maestro Cacciapaglia, the album was released on 12th october 2018 (day of his 22nd birthday) and it reached the first position in the Italian and Russian iTunes chart. The album’s release was managed by Ema Edition. “Neverland” was distributed by Believe Digital worldwide, and it’s now available on every digital stores. Davide has been playing for three consecutive years at the event Pianocity in Milan. In addition, he presented the preview of his album “Neverland” in the evocative setting of Grottammare's old town. On December 17th 2018 he played his composition “Incanto” in Florence, at the “Auditorium al Duomo”, in a version for piano and strings. On February 1st 2019 he played his entire album at the “Teatro Alfredo Chiesa” in Milan. His music can be included in the neoclassic genre and it blends classic elements to contemporary ones. The aim of his compositions is to transmit emotions, bringing the audience in to a world full of dreams and hope.
