Swedish classical alto singer and singing teacher, born 1950. Haking Raaby is educated at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm in the singing teacher class and the soloist class and finished his studies there in 1976 with a diploma with a reward token. After that she studied 1977–1979 at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Vienna and obtained diplomas in the voice training class and the song and oratorio class. In the years 1980 - 1989, Ingrid Haking Raaby was a senior lecturer in singing at the Royal Academy of Music and 1989–2004 a singing teacher at Vadstena folk high school. From 2004 to 2016, she was an associate professor of singing at the Jutland Conservatory of Music in Aarhus, Denmark. After retirement, Ingrid Haking Raaby moved back to Sweden and now lives in Linköping. She holds lectures, master classes, private singing lessons around Sweden and the Nordic countries. As a singer, Ingrid Haking Raaby has given romance concerts and church concerts in Sweden and Finland, among other places. She premiered Wilhelm Stenhammar's song cycle "Junge Liebe" on Swedish Radio in 1975. She has been a soloist with, among others, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra.
